RC joins RCs Global Retreat with the Secretary-General in New York

RC Joe Colombano joined the Resident Coordinators’ Global Meeting taking place in New York on 14-18 October 2024 in the presence of Secretary-General António Guterres and Deputy Secretary-General Amina Mohammed. Discussions focused on country-level follow ups to the Summit for the Future in September 2024, and the preparations for upcoming UN meetings, including the UN Ocean Conference scheduled in June 2025, the International Conference for Financing for Development in June and July 2025, and the World Social Summit in November 2025. The RCs also considered the Efficiency Agenda and had the opportunity for an exchange with member states.
