RC meets ASG Wignaraja of UNDP

On 11 September 2025, United Nations Resident Coordinator Joe Colombano paid a courtesy call on Ms. Kanni Wignaraja, Assistant Secretary-General and Regional Director for Asia and the Pacific of the United Nations Development Programme (UNDP) at their regional offices in Bangkok. The RC briefed ASG Wignaraja on the work of the UNCT in the Democratic People’s Republic of Korea and updated her on the prospects for the return of the UNCT to Pyongyang. He also expressed his gratitude for the ASG's support and guidance to his efforts.
