On 18 September 2025, United Nations Resident Coordinator Joe Colombano met with Ms. Armida Salsiah Alisjahbana, Under-Secretary-General of the United Nations and Executive Secretary of the Economic and Social Commission for Asia and the Pacific (ESCAP). The RC briefed the Executive Secretary on the latest developments with the work of the UN in the Democratic People’s Republic of Korea.
